Beard Star was born during the quiet chaos of 2020, when the world paused and self-care became a priority. Like many, I had never paid much attention to beard grooming until one day, stuck at home, I asked my barber for a good beard oil. He gave me one to try — I liked how it worked, but every time I carried the bottle, it leaked and made a mess.

When I mentioned this to my barber, he challenged me: "Why don't you look into it yourself? It’s a growing industry." That simple comment planted the seed. I began researching manufacturers and soon found a reliable suppliers in Canada. After testing the products in my barber friend's shop, the response was overwhelmingly positive.

At first, I considered launching on Amazon. But with the market saturated and education costs high, I turned my attention to a space with untapped potential — the barbershop industry. Many barbers lacked access to high-quality beard care products. I saw a clear opportunity to serve both them and their clients.
